Monthly Membership Fees Guide
Membership fees for 8th Kenton Scout Group are now collected by monthly Direct Debit. Online payments are administered via OSM (Online Scout Manager) in partnership with GoCardless. The following guide will help parents/guardians set this up.
1. Once you have been enrolled in the scout group, the section leader will request payment via OSM. You will receive a payment request to the email address provided when you enrolled.
2. Clicking the link in the Payment request email will take you to OSM Parent Portal. As this will be your first time logging in you will be asked to create an account. Again, you will only be able to use one of the email addresses provided at the time of enrolment.
3. Once logged in you will see the payment schedule, you can choose to make manual payments or automated payments. Manual payments are required by 1st of each month, and you will be able to make payments up to 4 weeks in advance.
4. Clicking the Pay Now button will open a pop up informing you GoCardless securely handle your bank details, clicking next will transfer you to GoCardless.
5. Once you have arrived at the GoCardless page, please fill in your payment details.
6. Once filled in you will be transferred back to OSM, here you will have a chance to automate future payments. If you wish to do so, select Yes in the Automatic Payments popup.
7. Once complete your Payment Schedule will look this the screenshot below. You can stop automatic payments at any time and manage your bank account using the buttons in the top left corner.
